		<description>Great post. Not all money is good money - but desperate entrepreneurs don&#039;t always see it this way. 

Another point is your exit strategy. If you don&#039;t know what it is, you can make the wrong decision. Certain exit strategies get closed off when you go with investment from a strategic investors, including buy out from competitive strategic buyers. Know what makes sense before doing so.

And if you do go forward, ask yourself &quot;who would care more if things stall?&quot; Things sometimes stall, and you need to double-up to move it forward. Would the strategic investor be incentivized to do so, or just let it die a slow death (and you along with it).
